<title>Introducing the New and Improved Smith Family Envelope</title>
  <link>http://smithelementary.org/News/article/sid=350.html</link>
<description>In an effort to reduce the number of copies made at school and to reduce the amount of paper information that comes home each week, there will be some changes made to the Wednesday envelope. These changes will be made at the beginning of next school year. Here is what you can look forward to:

&gt; On your PTA Orientation Form you will be asked to select your preferred method for receiving school wide information i.e. Smith Picnic, Newsletters, etc. You may select one of the following options.

&gt; A Family Envelope that will be sent home with the oldest and/or only child in each family. This envelope will include any information that goes home school wide.

&gt; Or if you want to further reduce the amount of paper coming home each week, check the website http://www.smithelementary.org. You may join the mail list for the website and you will received email notifications when new information is posted.

&gt; Each Wednesday envelope will be coded with a colored dot. Red will indicate the family envelope to include all information, blue will indicate classroom only information. (Classroom specific information will continue to come home with each student)

&gt; It will be sent home on Wednesday and should be signed and returned on Thursday.

As with anything new, we ask for your patience and understanding as we implement the envelope process.</description>
